« Ainsi, ce « fond »1 - dont la blancheur, le silence et l’immobilité de la toile à patron contrastent avec les lignes noires qui la parcourent – parait animé d’infimes et d’infinies variations, dans une condition métamorphique. Parcouru d’énergie potentielles à l’apparence hybride : entre câbles électriques, gaines ayant conservées l’empreinte de cordes, et mues de serpents se faufilant, sondant, dans et hors des plis.
L’installation apparait comme ce qui pourrait être un champ d’intensités, une activité sourde, « constituée par une infinité de forces […] à partir desquelles une actualisation (sous la forme d’un corps individué : c’est-à-dire affecté et affectant) pourra prendre forme. »2 »

"Thus, this ‘ground’¹ — whose whiteness, silence, and stillness, embodied by the pattern-making canvas, contrast with the black lines running across it — seems animated by infinitesimal and infinite variations, in a metamorphic state. It is traversed by potential energies with a hybrid appearance: somewhere between electrical cables, sheaths bearing the imprint of ropes, and snake skins slipping through, probing in and out of the folds.
The installation appears as what could be a field of intensities, a muted activity, ‘composed of an infinity of forces […] from which an actualization (in the form of an individuated body — that is, affected and affecting) may emerge.’²"
